Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for electrical and software-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot PLC communication and software applications.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at customer locations.
  • Coordinate with development and project teams for issue resolution.
  • Assist customers through phone, email, and remote support.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of deployed solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.
  • Support MES, SCADA, traceability, and industrial automation applications.
  • Conduct basic training for customers and operators when required.
  • Maintain service records and track pending issues until closure.
Required Skills
  • Basic knowledge of PYTHON based software application and industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Understanding of software applications, databases, and Windows environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
  • Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, ECE, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience with industrial software applications or automation projects is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or application support is preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and support critical production environments.
