Support Engineer (React/ Node.js)

We're looking for a Support Engineer to keep our web-based products running reliably and to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role that blends debugging, troubleshooting, and direct collaboration with engineering, product, and client teams. You'll be the technical point of contact for investigating incidents, diagnosing root causes, and ensuring a smooth experience for users and stakeholders.

We're looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating clearly under pressure while working across multiple teams.

What you'll do

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across multiple web applications

  • Diagnose bugs and root causes in applications built with Node.js, React, and TypeScript

  • Query and analyze data in PostgreSQL to investigate issues and validate fixes

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services on AWS (ECS, EKS, S3, RDS)

  • Respond to incidents, manage escalations, and communicate status clearly to stakeholders

  • Reproduce reported problems and document detailed steps, findings, and resolutions

  • Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and long-term solutions

  • Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to reliability, monitoring, and processes

  • Ensure performance, reliability, and security best practices are maintained across the stack

What we're looking for

  • Solid experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript

  • Proven experience in a technical support, application support, or SRE-adjacent role

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure

  • Good understanding of PostgreSQL and the ability to write and analyze SQL queries

  • Experience working with applications deployed on AWS (ECS, EKS, S3, RDS)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and stay calm during incidents

  • Advanced English

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry)

  • Experience integrating third-party tools and identity providers (SSO, Okta, etc.)
