Anglicare Southern Queensland Support Services Worker
Our Hervey Bay Home and Community service is seeking a part-time Service Support Worker.
This is a vital role within our community services and is an excellent starting position for a career in this area. We are looking for compassionate people to provide invaluable support to our clients around their homes with general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support.
About the role:
- Ensure cleaning and other service standards outlined by Anglicare are met
- Ensure duties are completed within the expected timeframe
- Use equipment as instructed to minimise risk of injury, and follow all manual handling and safe driving practices, in accordance with procedures and training
- The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
Requirements:
- Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
- A current National Police Certificate
- A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
