Support Specialist, Building Automation
Support Specialist Position Responsibilities:
- Complete Point to Point verification of Building Automation Systems as designed
- Performs the verification of the system database and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and engineered sequence of operations
- Configures building infrastructure networks to facilitate the integration of smart building technologies.
- Supports troubleshooting and resolution of inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations
- Performs the set-up and configuration of network devices, workstations and user interfaces
- Commissions proper network performance
- Performs operational testing, verification, and acceptance providing reports to review system operation
- Complete and submit written reports, and provide field modifications and control system documents to engineering for as-built drawings
Support Specialist Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree in HVAC, electronics or equivalent experience, preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Mechanical Systems, Electronics, or Facilities Management
- Experience in the construction environment preferred
- Excellent customer service skills. Good verbal and written communications skills. Skilled in PC applications and in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
