The right candidate will have:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within an MSP environment
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking and troubleshooting methodologies
- Familiarity with RMM tools, Professional Services Automation software, and remote support technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high quality support
Our Support Specialist will:
- Provide remote technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues
- Monitor and manage client IT environments using remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
- Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on client systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to higher-level support when necessary
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of client environments, support activities, and issue resolutions
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement best practices for IT support
- Stay currently with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT support and managed services
