Support Team Member

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team, in a hybrid model in Lisbon, supporting business-critical applications in a production environment. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who is comfortable investigating and validating technical issues and coordinating their resolution with different teams.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable and able to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Teamwork, ownership and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot issues affecting production applications;

• Investigate, validate and coordinate the resolution of incidents, defects and bugs;

• Provide production support and ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders;

• Collaborate with development, DevOps and other technical teams to identify root causes and implement solutions;

• Support incident and defect management processes, ensuring appropriate follow-up and prioritization;

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and team training;

• Ensure clear and structured communication throughout the incident resolution process.

Technical Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;

• Previous experience in Application Support, Production Support or a similar role;

• Experience working with DevOps tools or similar technologies;

• Experience managing and coordinating incidents, defects and bugs;

• Experience supporting production environments and communicating directly with clients;

• Good knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB; Oracle is a plus;

• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs and Postman;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
