Support Worker
What you’ll do
Every person we support is different, so no two days will be exactly the same.
As a Support Worker, you’ll:
- Support individuals to develop and maintain their independence
- Encourage choice, confidence and involvement in everyday decisions
- Support with shopping, cooking and household tasks
- Help individuals access activities and opportunities in their local community
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support with appointments and social activities
- Assist with medication where required
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect where needed
- Work alongside colleagues, families and other professionals to provide person-centred support
Above all, you’ll take the time to understand each individual and what a good day looks like for them.
