Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in our service in SA44 6HS and make a real difference the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us.
M&D Care are an established family-oriented business, which is run by a passionate team of professionals who deliver specialist, complex and bespoke care services throughout Southwest Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs.
Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.• Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.• Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.

Additional Information

  • We can offer 37.5 and 45 hour per week contracts• Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts - for the permanent night workers, we will offer night shifts across 7 days per week• No prior experience required – full training provided• Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for providing excellent care• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and able to work nights• Must be aged 18 or over
