What You'll Be Doing

You'll support adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs to live as independently as possible whilst encouraging choice, confidence and personal achievement.


Every day is different, but you may be:

  • Building meaningful relationships based on trust and respect
  • Supporting people with everyday routines and developing independent living skills
  • Encouraging hobbies, interests and community activities
  • Helping people achieve goals that are important to them
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes
  • Working alongside families and healthcare professionals to provide outstanding person-centred support


Senior Support Workers will also:

  • Lead shifts and support the wider team
  • Coach and mentor colleagues
  • Help implement care plans and risk assessments
  • Promote high standards of care and best practice
  • Act as a positive role model within the service


About You
