Male Specialist Support Worker - Newcastle/North Tyneside

£14.25 p/hr (specialist rate) | Day Shifts available

We are recruiting Male Support Workers to join a newly established team supporting an 18-year-old young man as he transitions to his new home from North Tyneside to Newcastle. He has an infectious smile and enjoys animated films such as Ice Age and Madagascar. He loves long walks and sensory experiences, including relaxing baths in a low-stimulation environment. This is an active and engaging role where you will help create positive daily experiences, build trusting relationships, and support him to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and values-driven individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • The physical fitness required for an active, hands-on support role.
  • Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm and professional in complex and demanding situations.

Experienced Support Worker - Holmes Close

£13.30 per hour

Holmes Close is a specialist supported living service compromising of five bungalows, supporting up to 14 residents. Our dedicated team provides 24/7 support, Positive Behaviour Support, and person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs, strengths, and aspirations.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in care and support
  • A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
  • Strong values that promote dignity, choice, inclusion, and independence
  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or Mental Health needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support

Female Support Worker - Allendale Court

£13.30 per hour

Allendale Court is a supportive living service in Dinnington. Our dedicated team provide 24/7 support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs, including people who may present behaviours that challenge others. You will be supporting people to achieve greater independence including building life skills, accessing the community, improving emotional wellbeing or transitioning into their own tenancy.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in care and support
  • A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
  • Strong values that promote dignity, choice, inclusion, and independence
  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or Mental Health needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support

Outreach Support Worker - Newcastle

£12.75 per hour

We are seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic Outreach Support Workers to join our team supporting people across the Newcastle area to live independently, build confidence and take part in the activities they enjoy.
