Supportive Housing Assistant | Mental Health

CSPNJ a mental health nonprofit agency is looking for a part-time Supportive Housing Assistant. Under the direct supervision of the Supportive Housing Coordinator the SHA will perform a variety of administrative duties that support the Coordinator and the operations and success of the Bergen County Supportive Housing Program. This role involves conducting community outreach to promote center services, building partnerships with local organizations, and ensuring access to resources.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Assess person's served needs and provide information and community referrals including clothing, food, shelter, housing services, rental assistance, general assistance, etc.
• Play a critical role in facilitating access to housing services, ensuring that individuals and families find safe, affordable, and appropriate living arrangements.
• Stays abreast of community resources available to assist persons served through financial, healthcare, educational and other services that may be needed.
