SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to exercise first and second level supervisory authorities over the Faculty Development Flight, consisting of three distinct units: TSFA, Plans and Training Development; TSFB, Instructor Training; and TSFC, Instructor Continuation Training. The responsibilities of this position include oversight and management of plans, programs, manpower, personnel, and funding to support faculty and staff development requirements for the 17 Training Group. DUTIES: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Faculty Development Flight. Develops plans for the strategic development of training courses in subject-matter areas and groupings of courses aligned with Air Force (AF), Air Education Training Command (AETC), and unit objectives. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents Faculty Development Flight with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Manages resources including facilities, equipment, personnel, and funding to support the TRG missions.
