SUPV IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC)
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/SERVICES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.
Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of highly skilled Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs), setting program goals, delegating tasks, and fostering professional development to ensure mission success.
Direct the full lifecycle management of information systems, developing integrated security architectures, policies, and strategic plans to support critical Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.
Serve as the organization's technical expert on information security and policy, providing advanced guidance on a wide range of issues including risk management, capital planning, and information assurance.
Drive the continuous improvement and modernization of the organization's information systems security posture by staying abreast of state-of-the-art technology and implementing quantitative and qualitative performance standards.
