SUPV IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/ Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA J9(HAC)/HYBRID CLOUD SOLUTIONS.

Planning and supervising the work of a work unit for which the programs and objectives are clearly defined and the organizational structure is fully established.

Plans workflow and makes work assignments, adjusting workloads and modifying procedures to alleviate backlogs or delays.

Reviews completed work for technical adequacy and for compliance with instructions.

Ensures Strategic Partners are kept apprised of current statuses, supported before and during a project and ensure turnover to sustainment is completed.

Communicates well, both orally and in writing. Able to create presentations and brief senior leadership

Work with other groups both internally to our organization and externally with Strategic Partners to ensure all groups are in sync and working well together.
