SUPV IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) (TITLE 32)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD3029700 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. All SUPERVISORY positions are subject to a 1 year probationary period. This announcement is a dual bid with Title 5 Announcement TN-13048424-AR-T526-038, only one selection will be made.

As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK), GS-2210-13, you will manage the operations of an IT Branch/Division primarily responsible for network infrastructure, systems administration, and telecommunications services. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and management directives. Directly oversee and advise on the execution of network, systems, telecommunications, and other IT infrastructure projects. Communicate effectively with technical staff as well as non-technical personnel to interpret technological requirements of the organization. Outline project priorities, define milestones, and adjust project schedules to achieve short and long-range organizational goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
