Surface / ROW Agent – Fort Worth, TX (On-Site)

We are seeking an experienced Right-of-Way (ROW) Agent to lead landowner outreach, easement negotiations, and agreement execution for critical infrastructure projects. This role focuses on engaging landowners, building trust, and securing site control to support the successful execution of upcoming project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Landowner Outreach & Negotiation: Initiate contact with landowners to discuss, negotiate, and secure easement and right-of-way agreements while addressing concerns and explaining compensation terms.

  • Relationship & Community Management: Act as the primary point of contact in the field, building and maintaining positive, transparent, and professional relationships with landowners and stakeholders.

  • Progress Tracking & Documentation: Meticulously track and document agreement progress using internal tracking systems to ensure complete, accurate records and compliance with company standards.

  • Strategy & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to refine acquisition strategies, resolve obstacles, and achieve key project milestones.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all negotiations, contracts, and field activities fully comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, landowner negotiations, or a closely related field.

  • Licensing: Must possess a Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) ROW license or be willing/eligible to obtain it immediately.

  • Logistics & Location: Must be located in or near the Fort Worth, TX area, with the ability to travel locally for direct landowner engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Negotiation Track Record: Proven ability to negotiate, overcome objections, and close agreements in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust quickly.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, project tracking tools, and standard office software (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).

  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially when managing multiple concurrent agreements.
