Surgery Coder
Roles& Responsibilities
- Perform
accurate coding of diagnoses and CPT codes in accordance with ICD-10-CM
and CPT guidelines.
- Ensure coding
accuracy of at least 98%.
- Review and
analyze medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
and accurate documentation.
- Work closely
with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed for accurate
coding.
- Stay up to
date with the latest coding guidelines, ICD codes, and industry trends.
- Maintain
confidentiality and always comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate
effectively with medical staff, patients, and other team members.
- Ensure coding
is performed in a timely manner to avoid billing delays.
Requirements
Requirements:
· CPC certification
· Minimum 2-5 years of experience
· Inpatient, Outpatient & SDS
· Should have an excellent command and proficiency
in E/M Inpatient & Outpatient & and all
procedure coding
· Good Communication
· Accuracy 98%
· Candidate with no break in service
· Multispecialty coder (Cardiothoracic, vascular,
orthopedics, general surgery, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, Plastics, Oncology,
Radiation therapy).
