Surgery Licensed Veterinary Technician
Upstate Veterinary Specialties is seeking skilled and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Surgery Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are passionate about patient care, this is your opportunity to grow and excel.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and maintain surgical suites
- Assist in surgical procedures and support surgeons
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals
- Ensure proper sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate with the surgical and broader veterinary team
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or eligibility for NYS licensure
- Experience or strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and sterile technique
- Passion for patient care, teamwork, and continuous learning
- Interest in a dynamic and varied surgical caseload
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Schedule Options
- Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
