Surgical Pathologist
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a position in anatomic pathology. Candidates should have a medical degree (MD or MD/PhD, or the equivalent) be board-certified/eligible in AP, or AP/CP with proper subspecialty fellowship training, preferably in GU, Gyn/breast, pulmonary or head-and-neck pathology. The candidate should be eligible for a Louisiana Medical License. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Duties will include sign-out of general surgical pathology cases, and teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows. Research activities will include any scholastic activities that pertain to the applicant’s clinical and/or academic interests. Service responsibilities will include serving on Departmental and/or University committees when needed.
