Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Works directly with department leadership on budgeting, planning, communication and implementing procedures for overall
• operation of department.
• Responsible for management and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
• Management of staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
• On occasion, will interview, recommend for hire, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Manages processes and programs to ensure Surveillance Department team members are trained properly to perform duties
• Coordinates and manages procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the
• team members and guests.
• Manage staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment.
• Lead actions by example. Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with department leadership.
• Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in security or surveillance within a comparable industry requiring knowledge and experience with sophisticated digital surveillance equipment.
• 1-3 years of experience at a supervisory level.
• Four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents, observe computer screens for an extended period and organize documents and materials.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
