Surveillance Technician (36679)
Job Description Summary
Responsible for maintaining and managing CCTV and digital recording system. Keeps equipment operating with routine cleaning, repair and installation of new or replacement digital equipment. Conducts business with minimal supervision while keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager advised of all technical needs. As knowledge increases, work schedule will include on call 24/7 status for equipment and service related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Responsible for keeping an accurate record of equipment malfunctions, fix any malfunctions in a timely manner, and reporting such to the appropriate authorities and keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager informed of all such incidents.
- Conducts all of the following under the direction of the Surveillance Technician Manager. Maintains equipment related to CCTV, digital system, camera placement and installs, digital recorders, cable pulls, wiring plus various other duties that occur.
- Must be able to work various shifts and weekends if needed.
- Conducts preventive maintenance to equipment under the direction of the Technician Manager.
- Assist various departments that have CCTV and or digital related equipment at the Surveillance Technician Managers approval.
- Able to maintain and keep any CCTV equipment certifications (Digital, IP or Analog)
- Must be able to keep up to date with new equipment technology (Digital, IP or Analog)
- Provide positive attitude and communication when working with casino employees, co-workers, and Surveillance management.
- Able to perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Technician Manager or Surveillance Director outside the assigned job duties of that of Surveillance Technician.
- Assures policies and procedures are followed when conducting maintenance or installs of equipment.
- Responsible for insuring that the Surveillance Department is taking the necessary steps to safeguard Tribal Gaming Assets and keep in compliance with Federal, State laws, rules, regulations and the MICS.
