Survey Crew Member
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS units, total stations, data collectors, and levels.
• Hold and position survey rods, prisms, and other equipment to obtain accurate measurements.
• Drive survey vehicles to and from job sites and ensure proper care of company equipment.
• Clear brush and debris as needed to establish line-of-sight for survey measurements.
• Set stakes, hubs, and markers to designate grades, alignments, and reference points.
• Record field notes and support documentation efforts as directed by the Crew Chief or Surveyor.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and regulatory safety standards at all times.
• Work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions.
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles and field procedures is a plus.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate survey equipment and technology.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Occasional travel required.
