Survey Party Chief
Job Overview
The Party Chief will have excellent attention to detail, be dependable, and be responsible regarding punctuality and attendance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Operate field equipment (GPS, Total Station, Levels) and mentor other staff on proper field procedures.
- Maintain good communications with office and field staff.
- Maintain proper field notes and project documentation.
- LiDAR scanning experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Party Chief performing topographic surveys, TxDOT, ALTA, and boundary surveys, and construction staking.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.

Able to work starting at 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, typically on a 10-hour workday.
- Overtime and weekend work may occasionally be necessary to meet project deadlines.

Travel when needed will be 5 and 10-day rotations with extended days off afterward.

Experience with Leica GPS and conventional equipment is a plus, but not required.

Valid driver's license.

They will also be required to: stand, walk, use hands, tools, controls, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as well as lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
