The Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking a Survey Project and Client Manager, located remotely in Texas.

As a Survey Project and Client Manager, you will lead survey projects and grow client relationships across Texas, with a strong emphasis on transportation, municipalities, utilities, renewable energy, and related infrastructure markets. This business-development-forward project management role will identify and pursue new opportunities, support proposals and scoping, and convert relationships into repeat work while overseeing project delivery, technical quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings an active Texas RPLS license, a strong record of revenue generation and account growth, and the ability to direct field and office teams. Candidates focused primarily on oil and gas are not the target profile; land-development-focused candidates are also less preferred.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client relationships and business development across Texas transportation, municipal, utility, renewable energy, and related infrastructure markets
  • Serve as the primary client contact, identify opportunities, support proposals, and grow repeat business
  • Manage survey projects, including scope, budgets, forecasts, change control, delivery, and client satisfaction
  • Oversee technical quality for topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, utility corridor, construction, and infrastructure survey deliverables
  • Coordinate staffing and integrated delivery with field and office teams, Geomatics leaders, engineers, planners, and other disciplines
  • Ensure compliance with DEA contracting, project accounting, and quality processes
  • Coach, mentor, recruit, onboard, and support the career development of survey staff
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in land surveying
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and mentoring survey staff
  • Strong client communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting transportation, municipal, utility, renewable energy, or related infrastructure projects
  • Existing relationships with Texas municipalities, transportation agencies, utilities, renewable energy clients, or engineering partners
  • Demonstrated success developing business, expanding client accounts, and generating substantial annual revenue in Texas
  • Experience using Trimble Business Center
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D and relevant survey production tools
