We’re seeking a talented Sushi Chef to craft exceptional sushi dishes for our valued customers. In this role, you’ll expertly prepare a variety of fresh fish and ingredients, ensure high-quality food standards, and maintain efficient kitchen operations. Success in this position requires proficiency in Japanese culinary techniques and the ability to work during our restaurant’s operating hours. Your contributions will play a key role in building our reputation as a top sushi destination in Utah.

Compensation: $13–$22 per hour, plus tips

Key Duties:

  • Create a range of sushi dishes, such as maki rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
  • Oversee food preparation tasks, including rice cooking and ingredient setup
  • Collaborate with servers to meet guest needs, including special requests and dietary restrictions
  • Track inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
  • Uphold strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, ensuring a tidy workspace after each shift

  • Availability for shifts during business hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
