SVP - GenAI Full-Stack Engineer Lead

As a hands-on engineering lead at Citi, you will guide the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI-powered applications while staying close to code. You’ll shape engineering strategy, mentor senior engineers, and drive platform adoption across teams. You’ll partner with stakeholders to align tech direction with business goals and advance DevSecOps practices. This role offers mentorship, growth, and the chance to influence global finance through scalable, cloud-native systems.

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale applications for critical business functions
• Remain hands-on with architecture, system design, code reviews and engineering decisions
• Set technical direction across full-stack ecosystems including frontend, backend, APIs, cloud services and platform components
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align platform strategy with priorities
• Deliver high-profile, business-critical programs with executive visibility
• Champion engineering excellence, DevSecOps, platform engineering and continuous improvement
• Mentor engineering managers and senior engineers to foster technical excellence and accountability
• Drive adoption of developer platforms, automation, and enterprise standards across teams

• Proven experience leading software engineering organizations in a hands-on capacity
• Strong software engineering expertise across modern languages/frameworks (Python, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, React)
• Experience delivering AI-enabled or Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience building enterprise-scale cloud-native apps using Kubernetes, containers, microservices and event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, resiliency, scalability and performance engineering
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, API design and integration patterns
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with influence across teams
