$180,000.00/Yr. - $275,000.00/Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job
The Senior Vice President, Tech & Life Sciences Asset-Based Lending (ABL) Relationship Manager is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing lending relationships with technology, life sciences, healthcare innovation, venture-backed, and sponsor-backed companies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and referral sources, delivering strategic financing solutions to support growth, acquisitions, working capital, and liquidity needs. The SVP drives business development, portfolio growth, and revenue generation while maintaining strong credit discipline and risk management practices.Responsibilities:
- Originate and develop new Tech & Life Sciences ABL relationships through direct calling efforts, referral sources, venture capital firms, private equity sponsors, and industry networks
- Manage and expand a portfolio of commercial clients while serving as the primary relationship manager
- Structure, negotiate, and execute asset-based lending transactions, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, acquisition financing, and growth capital solutions
- Partner with Credit and Risk teams to underwrite transactions, present credit recommendations, and obtain approvals
- Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, collateral trends, and overall credit quality
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
- Represent the Bank within the technology and life sciences communities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or formal credit training preferred
- 10+ years of commercial banking, asset-based lending, specialty finance, or related experience
- Demonstrated success originating and managing relationships within the technology, life sciences, venture-backed, or sponsor-backed markets
- Strong knowledge of commercial credit, asset-based lending structures, financial analysis, and portfolio management
- Proven business development, relationship management, negotiation, and credit presentation skills
- Existing network of industry, sponsor, venture capital, and professional referral contacts preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
