SW_Embedded Software Tech Lead (Yocto, Kernel, ARM)

Yocto for NVIDIA Jetson Platforms.

【Must-Have】
1. 8+ years of embedded Linux development experience, including 3+ years hands-on with Yocto Project (custom layers, BitBake internals, distro/machine configuration)
2. 2+ years as a tech lead, team lead, or de-facto technical owner of an embedded platform — mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and driving delivery
3. Deep Linux kernel expertise: configuration, driver development (platform/char drivers; I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, USB, PCIe subsystems), and debugging kernel panics and boot failures
4. Strong device-tree fluency (DTS/DTSI, overlays, pin muxing) and proven ARM SoC board bring-up experience
5. Hands-on with platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson (JetPack/L4T, meta-tegra), NXP Rockchip, or Qualcomm
6. U-Boot porting/configuration experience and a solid grasp of the ARM boot flow (Boot ROM → SPL → U-Boot → kernel)
7. Strong C; proficient in Python and shell for tooling and automation
8. Cross-toolchain and low-level debugging skills (GDB, JTAG/SWD, serial console); comfortable with schematics, datasheets, and lab equipment
9. Experience with OTA update systems and A/B update strategies in production
10. Git mastery, including upstream patch workflows
11. Multiple embedded Linux products shipped to production, at least one where you owned the platform or BSP end-to-end
12. Ability to translate low-level technical risk into clear schedule and product impact for non-embedded stakeholders

【Nice-To-Have】
1. Jetson-specific depth: CUDA, DeepStream, GPU-accelerated pipelines, NVIDIA flashing/provisioning tooling
2. Security leadership: secure boot and signing infrastructure, TPM, TrustZone/OP-TEE, dm-verity, filesystem encryption
3. Upstream contributions or maintainer roles in the kernel, U-Boot, or Yocto/OpenEmbedded
4. Real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT), power management, fast-boot optimization
5. CI/CD for embedded with hardware-in-the-loop testing (LAVA, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
6. Containers on embedded targets (Docker, Podman, balena)
7. Experience in regulated domains (ISO 26262, IEC 62304), if applicable
8. Vendor/ODM management experience
9. C++ for userspace services and middleware
