Role Description
We are looking for a skilled a skilled SW QA Engineer to join our Broadband R&D organization within the ATE Test Development team.
You will report to the Director of Software Devices, Broadband business unit.
Location
Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our offices in Caesarea
What you will be doing:
- Own and execute QA activities for software-based ATE solutions
- Analyze product and system requirements and translate them into clear test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and release testing
- Support release management activities, including test readiness, release validation, defect tracking, and quality sign-off
- Test complex ATE environments that combine software, hardware, instruments, and lab equipment
- Investigate, reproduce, and debug issues in collaboration with development, system, hardware, and production teams
- Work with other R&D teams to ensure high-quality delivery of test solutions
- Document test results, defects, risks, and technical findings in a clear and structured way
- Contribute to process improvements, test coverage, and product quality
What you should have:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field — or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience in software QA, system QA, validation, or a similar testing role
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and release processes
- Experience translating requirements into test cases and test plans
- Experience working with software development and QA tools such as:
Jira, TestRail, GitHub, Confluence, or similar platforms - Experience working in a Linux environment
- Good technical understanding and the ability to learn complex systems quickly
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good English skills — speaking, writing, and reading
Advantages:
- Experience with ATE systems or production test environments
- Experience debugging complex systems involving software, hardware, and equipment
- Knowledge of RF testing equipment and measurement tools
- Python knowledge or scripting experience
- Experience with test automation
