Join the ESRC Team as a part time swim instructor! Easterseals Rehabilitation Center offers swim lessons and aquatic exercise and fitness classes to clients of all ability levels. The swim instructor position will support clients with lessons and exercise classes. Fun fact, we have the only warm-water therapeutic pool in the community!
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Teach swim lessons to children and adults ages 3 and up
- Conduct aquatic exercise classes
- Supervise pool programs
- Organize pool equipment
- Clean pool and pool area
- Assist with maintaining appropriate pool chemical levels
- Opportunity for important work/life balance

- Monday through Friday work schedule, no weekends!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Prior swim lesson, lifeguarding and/or aquatic background experience required
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
- CPR/1st Aid Certification (Training will be provided if not certified)
- Must pass pre-employment background checks, physical, TB and drug screen
- Lifeguard certification preferred
