Hey there, water lover! Looking for a rewarding job that makes a real difference? Join our YMCA team as a Swim Instructor and teach kids ages 3-12 to swim safely and confidently.
Pay starts at $18/hour

What You'll Do:
- Share your love of swimming with kiddos from tiny tots to pre-teens
- Create fun pool time that cleverly teaches important skills
- Play games that help swimmers feel confident in the water
- Give high-fives and encouragement when students master a new skill
- Chat with parents about their child's awesome progress
- Keep everyone safe while they're having a blast
- Be the instructor you wish you had when you learned to swim!
What You Need:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Know how to swim and be comfortable with different strokes
- Enjoy hanging out with kids and helping them succeed
- A positive attitude and patience when teaching
- Willingness to get wet and have fun!
- Previous teaching experience? Great if you have it, but no worries if you don't—we'll train you!
