Job Summary
Provide enjoyable and comprehensive swim coaching to students of all ages and skill levels in private or group settings.
Responsibilities
- Arrange suitable dates and times to conduct private swim lessons based on client needs
- Create detailed lesson plans tailored for private and group sessions
- Conduct swim lessons professionally, ensuring high coaching standards at all times
- Maintain an updated logbook recording lessons conducted and hours worked monthly
- Build and sustain positive rapport with students to encourage retention
- Communicate lesson policies clearly to clients, including payment and cancellation terms
- Maintain and care for coaching equipment to ensure readiness and safety
- Keep the pool venue clean, organized, and safe for all users
- Arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before group lessons begin to prepare
- Accurately check and record attendance for group lessons regularly
Required competencies and certifications
- GCE “O” level certificate, ITE certificate, or equivalent
- At least 4 years of swimming coaching experience
- Obtained Swim Coaching Certification
- Medically fit to work and conduct lessons

- Good interpersonal skills to interact professionally and responsively with all levels internally and externally
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
