Stall Grade Relief

About the Role

At States Industries, our Stall Grade Relief team members play an important role in keeping production moving and making sure our hardwood plywood products meet our quality standards.

This is a hands-on production position that combines panel handling, quality inspection, grading, forklift operation, and relief coverage throughout the grading area. The primary responsibility is flipping and handling panels for graders in the grading stalls, while also being trained and ready to step into grading and other production functions as needed.

Previous manufacturing, wood products, or grading experience is highly valued in this role. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are also a plus.

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond for the team. If you have experience in a manufacturing environment and are looking for an opportunity to build additional skills and take on more responsibility, this could be a great fit.

  • Work with the team to achieve safety, quality, production, and on-time delivery goals.
  • Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Step in wherever needed to support the team and operation.
