SysOps / DevOps Engineer
In this role you help build, scale, and maintain our infrastructure to keep platforms reliable, secure, and highly available in a fast-paced, real-time environment. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, collaborating with engineering, product, and external partners to support robust deployment processes. You will expand cloud and on‑premise environments, implement automation, and drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices. This is an opportunity to shape scalable, automated operations and explore AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity and monitoring across time zones.
Responsibilities- Maintain and scale cloud and on‑premise infrastructure
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Maintain secure, resilient network connectivity including third-party links
- Ensure platform reliability with effective alerting and incident response
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement with QA and tech teams
- Support efficient development and release processes with engineering and product teams
- Troubleshoot production issues in time-sensitive scenarios
- Automate manual tasks to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to ongoing DevOps tooling, standards, and practices
- Explore and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and monitoring capabilities
- Provide support for global users across multiple time zones
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, system administration, and deployment workflows
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure, networking, and private connectivity
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including security principles
- Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Understanding of web hosting platforms (IIS, Nginx)
- Familiarity with high-availability or real-time systems (financial services experience advantageous)
- Exposure to or interest in AI-assisted tooling for scripting, automation, or monitoring
