System Administration Specialist

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure server stability and support core operational activities efficiently.

• Monitor server performance continuously to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact system availability.

• Manage user permissions and enforce security policies to prevent unauthorized access and maintain compliance with corporate security standards.

• Install and upgrade server software and patches regularly to enhance performance and address vulnerabilities.

• Manage virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Cloud) to provide flexibility and improve infrastructure efficiency.

• Ensure regular backups of critical systems to enable rapid data recovery in the event of system failure or data loss.

• Administer and maintain core infrastructure services (e.g., DHCP, DNS, Active Directory) to ensure uninterrupted and reliable network operations.

• Document system configurations and administrative procedures to preserve institutional knowledge and streamline maintenance processes.

• Configure and manage email servers, file sharing systems, and backup solutions to support secure communication and efficient data exchange.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT field

• 0 to 7 years of experience in IT support or a related role

• Very good English

• Management of virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V

• Backup system configuration and maintenance

• Operation and support of core network services
