System Administrator
Summary
Maintains and secures Windows/Linux servers, storage, and Active Directory infrastructure for a large financial institution, automating tasks with PowerShell and ensuring backup/disaster recovery.
Job Description
- Infrastructure Management:
- maintain physical hardware components,including servers and storages.
- Install, configure, and maintain server OS(Windows and linux),including physical and vitural machine
- Perform regular system updates and security patches. - System Management
-AD infrastructure and OU structure.
-Group Policy Objects(GPOs) design, implement, and troubleshoot.
-Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks
-Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operation systems.
- Familiar with PowerShell,Linux Shell,HTML,XML language.
- Understanding of database architecture and experience using databases(e.g.Mysql,MsSql)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g. RHCSA,RCHE, MCSE) a plus.
