Hybrid-role System Administrator in Chișinău for satellite communications company Gilat, handling day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), on-prem Active Directory, endpoint security and patching (Intune, SCCM, Defender), EDR, storage/backup operations, and helpdesk escalations across a global environment.

Who we are looking for
An experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft cloud and security operations. The ideal candidate combines a Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory with hands-on experience in identity and endpoint security solutions and demonstrates the ability to work effectively globally.
What you will do
- Administer Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and 365 security.
- Manage Entra ID (Azure AD): Conditional Access, MFA, enterprise applications, PIM.
- Administer on-premises Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, Exchange, SQL, and certificate services.
- Manage endpoint compliance and patching via Intune, SCCM, Automox, BitLocker.
- Operate privileged access, EDR, enterprise storage, and backup restore testing.
- Handle Helpdesk escalations, mentor engineers, and support global security compliance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure - a Must
- Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and security - a Must
- Hands-on Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server - a Must
- Fluent English (written and spoken) a Must
- Experience with Defender for Office 365 and Purview (DLP, Retention), MFA
- Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM) and PowerShell scripting
- EDR (CrowdStrike), PAM (CyberArk), and PKI certificate services - an Advantage
- Enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), backup, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
