This role involves being the go-to expert for data center systems and communications infrastructures specific to these attractions, working closely with the Controls Systems in Engineering and Safety group. The responsibilities encompass creating, implementing, and sustaining industrial data centers and communications. This includes overseeing installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, providing data center and network support, troubleshooting, and conducting continual audits.

Responsibilities

1. Data Centre and Virtualization Management:

- Lead the installation and maintenance of Data Centre operations, including deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining UCS servers.

- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of VMware environments, Windows Server 2021, and Linux RHEL 9.0

2. Network Services:

- Manage common network services such as SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, and Active Directory.

- Ensure the seamless integration of network services to support overall system functionality.

3. Performance Analysis and Root Cause Analysis:

- Utilize tools like Wireshark to analyse network performance and provide detailed root cause analysis.

- Offer recommendations, guidance, and expertise to maintain the highest level of system performance.

4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

- Perform complex troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues.

- Conduct backup, archiving, and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.

5. Documentation and Best Practices:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement efficient and standardized processes

Requirement

5+ years of relevant professional experience

- Extensive experience in Data Centre and virtualization technologies (UCS, VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, Windows Server, Linux Server).

- Proficient in managing common network services (SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform network performance analysis using tools like Wireshark.

- Hands-on experience in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining UCS Servers.

- Expertise in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining VMWare and Windows Server 2016, 2018 and 2021.

- Proven ability to perform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recovery procedures.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
