Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator to provide end-to-end storage support across dispersed sites, sustaining a multi-vendor high-performance storage environment that includes mass storage systems, fiber channel fabrics, and complex software components. You will troubleshoot hardware issues, implement reliability and performance enhancements, conduct capacity planning, and deliver day-to-day monitoring and problem resolution.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator to provide end-to-end storage support across dispersed sites, sustaining a multi-vendor high-performance storage environment that includes mass storage systems, fiber channel fabrics, and complex software components. You will troubleshoot hardware issues, implement reliability and performance enhancements, conduct capacity planning, and deliver day-to-day monitoring and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of system administration experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related technical field
- An additional five (5) years of system administration experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of Fifteen (15) years
- Linux administration on RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu
- OS install, file system configuration, and TCP/IP networking
- Operating system and application troubleshooting
- BASH scripting; software compilation and install
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (with verification code)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph (most recent poly within 7 years)
- This position carries an on-call requirement.
- Lustre file system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with DDN Exascaler file system appliances
- TCP/IP networking knowledge, specifically storage fabrics (including fiber channel)
- Capacity planning and performance optimization for high-performance storage
- Benchmarking tools such as IOR, iperf, FIO, and lnet_selftest
- Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot)
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, and Ansible
- Strong troubleshooting skills — comfort with the reality that no two systems are exactly alike
