About the Role
As a LIMS Administrator, you will manage, maintain and enhance laboratory information management systems supporting scientific laboratory operations. Working closely with business stakeholders, developers and ICT teams, you will troubleshoot technical issues, develop new functionality, manage system access and ensure reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support LIMS platforms, including LabWare and SampleManager
- Develop and enhance system functionality using programming and scripting languages
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve bugs and investigate recurring problems
- Use SQL to extract data, investigate errors and support database operations
- Configure, test and implement system enhancements in line with change control procedures
- Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures and test plans
Skills & Experience
- Experience administering LIMS platforms or comparable laboratory systems
- Knowledge of LabWare, SampleManager or similar laboratory information systems
- Experience with SQL, database administration and data processing
- Programming or scripting experience in languages such as VGL, LIMS Basics, C#, Visual Basic, Java or HTML
- Understanding of scientific laboratory operations and quality control processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Australian Citizenship & Existing Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
