Schedule
Full-time
A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).
Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
$78,000pa - $84,000pa.
The Position
A Systems Administrator at LAI plans, develops, installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and supports LAI’s IT systems to ensure LAI’s intranet and confidential information is kept protected and updated as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and maintaining LAI’s intranet and IT naming conventions along with the IT Manager;
Establishing routine maintenance and system recovery procedures to ensure the system is secure and safe;
Preparing and submitting to the IT Manager for approval database documentation, guidelines and procedures;
Constantly ensuring LAI’s systems are on the most efficient version; and
Partake in debugging exercises and identify then resolve problems, according to LAI procedures and processes.
The Candidate
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in supporting LAI’s IT System. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and be confident collaborating across multiple departments.
Desired Competencies
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems or Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with manufacturing or discrete manufacturing-services environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external partners.
Familiarity with business processes in IT.
Experience in data migration, testing, and user training is highly desirable.
