System Administrator (Linux)

We are seeking a Linux Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our Linux-based server infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can work independently to drive automation and reliability improvements across our environment., Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, or similar) in on-premises environments Deploy and administer virtualisation platforms including XCP-ng, Proxmox, KVM, and VMware Manage and maintain physical hardware in data center environments Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and uptime of critical services Design and implement automation using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Bash/Python scripting Administer and maintain infrastructure services (Wildfly, Free-Radius, DNS, DHCP, Kea, Squid, NFS, LDAP etc.) Implement and enforce security best practices, including hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation Configured and managed SAN storage systems (HPE MSA, Ceph), including volume provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning to support production workloads.
