System Administrator
NewBe an early applicant- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, network devices, firewalls, storage, printers, and access points.
- Support different infrastructure models, including Domain Active Directory environments and Workgroup environments.
- Maintain proper IT documentation for each company, including network diagrams, server details, device inventory, user accounts, licenses, backup plans, and support history.
- Manage and support firewalls, including Sophos and FortiGate Firewalls, review rules, user access, and basic security setting.
- Manage and troubleshoot TP-Link access points and controller-based wireless environments.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors when needed.
- Manage Windows Server environments.
- Administer Active Directory, including users, groups, organizational units, permissions, and Group Policies.
- Support DNS, DHCP, file sharing, print services, and basic server roles.
- Manage access permissions for shared folders and company resources.
- Monitor server health, storage usage, event logs, and system performance.
- Support companies that operate without a domain and are currently using workgroup-based setups.
- Manage and monitor backup solutions.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly backups are running successfully.
- Perform regular backup checks and test restore activities.
- Maintain backup documentation, retention policies, and recovery procedures.
- Report backup failures, storage issues, and risks to management.
- Provide technical support to end users across the group.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365 users, licenses, mailboxes, groups, and basic security settings.
- Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Handle user account setup, password resets, email configuration, and access requests.
- Install, configure, format, and maintain laptops, desktops, and user devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, scanner, and connectivity problems.
- Support basic mobile device email setup and Microsoft 365 access.
- Support antivirus, endpoint protection, and approved company applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and local printers.
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets across all companies.
- Provide remote and onsite support when required.
- Coordinate with IT vendors, internet providers, firewall providers, Microsoft partners, printer suppliers, and hardware maintenance companies.
- Follow up on warranty claims, repairs, renewals, licenses, and service contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration and end-user technical support.
- Experience supporting multiple sites, branches, or companies is highly preferred.
- Strong practical experience with Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365.
- Good experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file sharing, and permissions.
- Experience with firewalls, preferably FortiGate Firewall.
- Experience with backup solutions.
- Good understanding of SAN, NAS, and shared storage environments.
- Experience with network printers, scanners, and business peripherals.
- Experience with wireless networks and access point controllers, preferably TP-Link.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, switching, routing basics, and network troubleshooting.
