System Administrator
Job Description:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network devices.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Provide technical support and guidance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform system maintenance
- Monitor system performance
- Create system backups
- Maintain system security
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking, hardware, and security protocols.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats and best practices.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
