System Analyst ( 1-year contract )

About the Role

Hybrid analyst–engineer role: part requirements analysis and system design, part hands-on full-stack development. You will bridge business needs and technical implementation, translating business processes into scalable software systems while actively building and maintaining the applications.

What You'll Do

• Gather and analyze business requirements, then translate them into technical specs, user stories, and system design documents (workflows, ERDs, sequence diagrams).

• Define acceptance criteria and support UAT.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI), including database modeling and efficient SQL on PostgreSQL / MySQL.

• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services, and implement authentication, authorization, and data-security best practices.

• Build responsive, component-based UIs in React (hooks, state management), consuming backend APIs and managing client-side data flow.

• Work in Agile/Scrum teams, act as the bridge between business users and developers, and support testing, deployment, and post-release maintenance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–6 years in systems analysis and/or full-stack development.

• Strong Python with at least one backend framework (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

• Solid React and modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and SQL.

• Proven ability to gather requirements and produce clear technical specifications.

• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
