SYSTEM ANALYST / ANALYST PROGRAMER
Summary
Application developer/support analyst at SOGO, a Hong Kong department store group: builds, implements and supports internal business applications (ERP/retail systems) using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SSRS, PL/SQL and MSSQL/MySQL, following development standards and recommending technology improvements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for application development, implementation and support
Ensure efficient and effective development methodologies, protocols and standards of practice are followed properly
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance performance
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superior
Requirements:
Degree Holder in Computer Science / Information Technology or IT related discipline
Minimum 5 years of related working experience in IT system development and support
Hands-on experience in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SSRS, PL/SQL, web-services and stored procedure
Experience in database management systems such MSSQL, MySQL, etc.
Experience in ERP system or Microsoft Dynamics product (Navision), Business Process Management (K2/BPM) and retail industry will be an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work independently under pressure
Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese with strong communication skill
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
