Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements and solutions: liaise with business units, gather and analyse business requirements, prepare functional specifications, process flows and technical proposals, and assess effort, risk and priority.

  • System maintenance: coordinate the daily operation, version updates and functional maintenance of the corporate website and online store platform so that stability, security and performance targets are met.

  • System integration: design and manage data interfaces and API integration with back-office systems, logistics and payment services, and resolve data consistency and exception cases.

  • Cloud and infrastructure: manage cloud resources, content delivery and web protection, caching and web servers, databases and cache services, including configuration and capacity planning for peak campaign traffic.

  • Security and compliance: implement website security controls (account permissions, two-factor authentication, backup and restore drills), follow up security patches and ensure compliance with company policy.

  • Incident handling: act as the primary owner of technical incidents, covering rapid triage, restoration, root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting, with improvement proposals.

  • Release and quality management: define testing and release processes (including rollback arrangements), operate change management, and keep every release traceable and reversible.

  • Leadership and collaboration: guide and review the Analyst Programmer's designs and code, and manage the technical delivery of external service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years in system analysis or application development, including at least 1-2 years leading a small team or acting as technical lead.

  • Sound understanding of e-commerce or public-facing website systems; experience preparing for peak campaign periods is an advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, web servers, relational databases and caching technology.

  • Able to write technical documentation (specifications, process flows, test and release plans) independently and explain it clearly to non-technical colleagues.

  • Strong incident handling and root-cause analysis skills, with sound technical judgement under pressure.

  • Good command of Cantonese and English (written and spoken); Mandarin is an advantage.

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of information security practice (account and permission management, backup and restore, incident response).

  • Experience with retail, pharmacy or chain-store business systems.

  • Practical project management or Agile experience.
