System Analyst_Contract Renewable
Summary
A senior IT analyst bridging business analysis, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive platform innovation, design frameworks, and resolve technical issues in a banking environment using legacy and modern tools.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the BA, infra, deployments and vendor teams.
- Use and manage vendor augmented resources and ensure work assignments for high utilization and effective, quality outcomes while avoiding re-work
- Drive technical innovation to enhance functional and technical capabilities of the platform
- Build frameworks for configuration instead of code for each component
- Communicate with technical and non-technical resources and work with limited direction while being highly productive
- Apply standards and industry frameworks while leverage existing technologies and tools in the Bank
- Implement solutions considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
- Produce detailed design /low level design documents that communicate the system design effectively
- Drive adherence to development, configuration management and deployment standards for solutions
- Analyse performance test, vulnerability assessments and any other test related issues that arise during projects
- Manage, address and resolve project-related technical issues in a timely fashion, ensuring necessary escalation and communication to stakeholders as necessary
- Select, train, develop and manage technical team members in a conducive team environment
- Lead multi-vendor teams to successfully deliver solutions
- Guide the project team in issue resolution to meet the requirements and timelines
Requirements:
- Degree with 8-10 years of current, hands on technical experience
- AIX O/S and RedHat platform and scripting skills
- Java and internet-related components (i.e: JSON,XML)
- iPlanet, WebSphere, WebLogic, Database, Sql
- DevOps suite of products (i.e: Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar, Aldon, etc)
- Connect Direct, SFTP, basic UNIX commands, Control-M
- MicroServices, OpenShift, Kafka
