Key Responsibilities
Provide consultancy based on IT industry expertise and high level system analysis, problem diagnosis and solving.
Conduct feasibility study, capacity planning and resources sizing to provide recommendation for IT solutions with the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Liaise with users to collect, analyze and finalize user requirements; develop overall design of application systems.
Ensure quality assurance of IT solutions, define support needs for users and provide expert level support.
Handle change requests properly, review the standards and guidelines of IT solutions.
Evaluate, recommend and assist in procurement processes for required hardware, software, systems products or services.
Supervise a team of technical staff to ensure smooth systems operation by developing automation tools for monitoring of systems health, performance, batch processes and supporting facilities around the clock.
Liaise with vendors and monitor progress for different stages of system development including design, development, testing, implementation and review.
Be responsible for hardware inventory management including but not limited to collection, review and planning of capacity requirement.
Provide after office hours system support.
Entry Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines, or equivalent.
- 6 years’ post-qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure
Proven experience in the design and development of the following areas\:
DevSecOps integration workflow using GitHub Actions
Applications using Java, Node.js and Python
Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
Private and public Cloud
Demonstrated skills in project management, analytical thinking and problem solving.
Innovative, mature, self-motivated and able to handle stressful situation.
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in both English and Chinese.
