Systems Analyst will assist in analyzing business processes, gathering functional requirements, and supporting the implementation of standard and automated software solutions. Working alongside senior analysts and engineering teams, you will help document system workflows, conduct testing, support day-to-day user issues, and gain hands-on experience with enterprise data, analytics, and automation platforms.

What a typical day looks like:

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Assist in collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Systems Support & Troubleshooting: Communicate with business users to log, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational or report-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support system enhancements and implementations by creating test scenarios, running User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validating output data.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Write basic SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data to help answer business questions and verify report accuracy.
• Project Coordination: Support global and local IT project rollouts by tracking project tasks, maintaining documentation in Jira/Confluence, and updating project logs.
• Process Improvement: Assist senior team members in researching process bottlenecks and proposing basic automation or workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with business users and senior analysts to understand requirements for reports, dashboards, or process improvements.
• Assist in updating and maintaining basic BI dashboards and visualization reports (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Write and execute basic SQL scripts to inspect data tables, validate data integration outputs, and check data quality.
• Log, investigate, and assist in resolving user support tickets for reporting or data platform issues.
• Maintain clear technical and functional documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Learn and gain exposure to enterprise technologies (Cloud Data Warehouses, ETL pipelines, Event Streaming) through internal mentorship and hands-on project tasks.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, MCA (Recent graduates/freshers welcome).
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience (Internships, academic projects, or entry-level IT/Systems exposure preferred).
• Core Concepts: Foundational understanding of database structures, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic proficiency in SQL (select statements, joins, filtering, aggregation).
• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (Excel) for data inspection.
• Basic programming exposure in Python or Unix Shell scripting is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, clear verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and a strong enthusiasm for learning new technical tools.
• Database & Querying: Relational Databases, SQL.
• Scripting: Basic Python or Unix Shell Scripting.
• Exposure / Desirable (Good to Have / Will Train On):
• Data Platforms & Warehousing: Exposure to Cloud Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) or traditional RDBMS.
• BI & Visualization: Basic exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• ETL & Data Integration: Conceptual understanding of ETL tools (Informatica, Qlik) or data streaming (Kafka, ELK Stack).
• AI/Automation: Interest or coursework in AI/ML application basics and process automation.
